Fire Ceremony

Fire ceremonies are common in many shamanic traditions.  Light is considered the source of life.  Indeed, all life would cease to exist on this planet if we were to be without sunlight.  For every year that a tree grows it lays down another layer of bark, binding sunlight into physical form.  During a fire ceremony, we open Sacred space and blow our prayers for what we want to release back to spirit into a stick and also what we want to bring in.  We place the stick in the fire and return our prayers to to Spirit.

Each person can perform these individually with something as simple as a candle and a toothpick.  However, sometimes a group would like to have a collective ceremony at a larger venue such as a fire pit on the beach.  Please contact me for more information if you are interested in such a ceremony.
